Treasury Officer

About the role

The Treasury Officer will act as the maker for agent fund‑out payments, ensuring that all transactions are processed accurately and on time. This role supports daily banking operations and collaborates closely with the Senior Treasury team to maintain compliance with financial policies.

Key responsibilities

• Issue payments for Agent Fund Out from each bank (maker role) and ensure timely, accurate processing.
• Perform bank activities such as opening accounts, handling online banking affairs, executing transfers, and reconciling daily transactions.
• Prepare daily bank balance reports and forward fund‑out transaction summaries to the Senior Treasury.
• Validate and verify Agent Fund Out transactions to guarantee compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Immediately report any potential shortage of bank balance for Agent Fund Out to the Senior Treasury.
• Assist with ad‑hoc financial matters as required.

Required profile

• Fully qualified degree (e.g., B.A. in Economics) or a graduate diploma/certificate in accounting; banking or service‑sector experience is preferred.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in banking, finance, or related fields.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Computer literate with solid Microsoft Excel skills.
