Senior Credit Collections Analyst

About the role

The Senior Credit Collections Analyst will join AYA Bank’s credit team in Yangon, evaluating the creditworthiness of individuals and businesses. You will play a key part in protecting the bank’s portfolio while supporting growth through accurate risk assessment and timely collections.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse financial statements, credit histories and market conditions to assess credit risk.
• Prepare credit proposals and recommend appropriate limits and terms in line with bank policies.
• Monitor existing credit portfolios, detect early‑warning signals and trigger risk‑mitigation actions.
• Collaborate with relationship managers and other departments to ensure smooth loan processing.
• Produce clear reports and documentation for internal and regulatory review.

Required profile

• Strong credit management and evaluation capabilities.
• Excellent analytical skills for financial and risk analysis.
• Effective communication for reporting and stakeholder interaction.
• Good understanding of finance and banking products.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or related field.
• Experience in credit analysis, lending or risk management within a financial institution is an advantage.
• Ability to work accurately with data, meet deadlines and follow structured processes.
• High ethical standards, attention to detail and commitment to regulatory compliance.
• Fluency in English; Myanmar language is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Familiarity with analytical tools.
• Knowledge of core banking systems (beneficial).
