Relationship Manager (FIs)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Relationship Manager to lead and expand our portfolio of financial institution clients, including foreign, local and state‑owned banks. The role involves building correspondent banking relationships, sourcing new business opportunities and supporting trade and treasury operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and grow a portfolio of financial institution clients across multiple regions and currencies.
• Establish and manage correspondent banking and nostro/vostro accounts in major currencies (USD, EUR, JPY, etc.).
• Coordinate business development visits and calls with foreign banks and their representative offices in Yangon.
• Identify product sales opportunities with regional APEC and global banks.
• Obtain and monitor credit limits for trade and treasury products.
• Communicate with partner banks via SWIFT and email for RMA setups, account openings and case follow‑ups.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth deal execution and timely support.
• Take ownership of issues, work independently and escalate when necessary.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or a related field (fresh graduates are welcome).
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with people at all levels and work as a team player.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
