Project Manager (ACL Project)

About the role

World Vision is seeking a Project Manager to lead the ACL (Assistance, Cash, and Logistics) Project. The role focuses on delivering food security and cash assistance programmes to vulnerable children and families in challenging environments.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with local partners, NGOs, and government agencies to conduct food security analyses and ensure efficient delivery of food and cash assistance.
• Record and manage data related to assistance programmes, vulnerability assessments, and reporting to stakeholders.
• Support capacity building for World Vision staff and national government teams within the technical area.
• Oversee support staff, providing guidance to meet objectives, standards, and deadlines.
• Negotiate with donors and support offices to secure contract terms that align with World Vision’s requirements.
• Collaborate with Food/Cash Manager and sector coordinators to develop integrated programmes.
• Design construction activities, prepare bills of quantity, and ensure compliance with selection criteria for target villages.
• Guide field officers in distribution planning, risk mitigation, and beneficiary targeting.
• Facilitate access to training materials, manuals, and SOPs for staff and volunteers.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing humanitarian food security or cash assistance projects.
• Strong ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders, including NGOs, government bodies, and donors.
• Experience in capacity building, staff supervision, and technical guidance.
• Knowledge of procurement, construction standards, and budgeting for field activities.
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
