Procurement Executive (Telecom)

About the role

The Procurement Executive will manage the acquisition of critical telecom and industrial equipment, ensuring continuous operation of generators, elevators, and related systems. This role is based at MICT Park, Hlaing Township, and offers a structured environment for strategic sourcing and supplier management.

Key responsibilities

• Purchase generator spare parts, repair services, engine oil, batteries, and monitoring system devices.
• Maintain quarterly consumable stock levels for items such as AVR cards, DSE controller cards, main oil seals, and pressure switches.
• Oversee quarterly maintenance items based on running hours, including engine oil, coolant, filters, and fan belts.
• Procure elevator spare parts, conduct price inquiries, and manage monthly consumables like kerosene and cleaning supplies.
• Review, compare, and approve products and services, evaluating suppliers and negotiating terms.
• Prepare comparison documents, audit submissions, and coordinate with the accounts department.
• Deliver goods to the warehouse, verify correctness, and ensure user satisfaction.
• Maintain and update supplier information, negotiate contracts, and research new suppliers.
• Prepare budgets, cost analyses, and regular reports.
• Supervise the Procurement Assistant and allocate tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement of telecom or industrial equipment.
• Strong analytical abilities for cost analysis and budgeting.
• Effective negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
• Attention to detail in documentation and audit processes.
