NOC Engineer

About the role

The NOC Engineer is accountable for Network Operations Center functions within the BIM Group and reports directly to the NOC Team Lead. The role involves continuous monitoring of network and system devices, troubleshooting level‑1 incidents, and coordinating with customers and vendors until issues are resolved.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor network and system devices, including software health, to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and resolve level‑1 incidents, escalating to related teams when necessary.
• Communicate with customers and vendors via email and phone to achieve timely resolution.
• Document and publish approved work instructions and procedures for internal reference.

Required profile

• Minimum diploma or degree in any discipline.
• At least one year of IT‑related work experience.
• Fundamental knowledge of networking and system concepts.
• Availability to work shifts, including nights, holidays and weekends.
• Strong teamwork, negotiation, communication and reporting abilities.
• Good analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written English.
