About the role
The Myanmar Partnership Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting, developing, and strengthening partnerships in Myanmar. This position ensures smooth collaboration between regional partners and Partners Worldwide, contributing to project effectiveness and sustainability. It involves partnership engagements, knowledge management, resource mobilization, and capacity development.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate consistent communication between partners using web‑based project management tools, email, conference calls, and regular planning, progress, and prayer calls.
- Assist with translation of materials between Burmese and English as needed.
- Plan and execute workshops, webinars, and events that support local partners’ missions.
- Design, coordinate, and deliver training sessions on leadership, operational efficiency, and business growth for entrepreneurial association staff.
- Identify revenue‑generation opportunities to improve financial sustainability of the local network.
- Monitor, document, and report partnership activities, impact stories, and metrics.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or professional license in Business, Finance, International Relations, Nonprofit Management, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; 100% bilingual in English and Burmese.
- Mature Christian faith lived out in work and relationships.
- Curiosity to learn new skills, solve problems, and seek expertise.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with strong organizational attention to detail.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Office 365 and related collaboration tools.
- Experience using web‑based project management platforms.
- Familiarity with AI tools and current technological developments.
