Marketing Manager – Energy Brands

About the role

The Marketing Manager will drive growth, brand strength and execution excellence for the Energy segment within the Beverage Business Unit. This commercial, execution‑driven role requires deep knowledge of Myanmar’s energy drink market, GT channel realities and youth culture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop annual brand plans aligned with BU and Group strategy, defining brand roles and supporting portfolio reviews.
• Lead full‑funnel campaign execution across ATL, BTL, digital, OOH, POSM, events, sampling, sponsorships and retail activation.
• Track brand performance (volume, NSR, market share, distribution) and manage A&P budgets with ROI focus.
• Support consumer research, innovation briefs and NPD execution from concept to launch.
• Convert brand plans into practical toolkits for field sales, distributors and trade partners, ensuring POSM‑ready execution.
• Coach junior marketers and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive disciplined marketing standards.

Required profile

• 8‑11 years of progressive FMCG marketing experience, preferably in beverages, energy drinks or similar high‑velocity categories.
• Strong understanding of Myanmar’s GT‑heavy retail structure, fragmented distribution and youth media habits.
• Proven experience in campaign development, event activation, sponsorships, sampling, digital content and agency management.
• Exposure to NPD, variant launches, pack‑price strategy and consumer research is strongly preferred.
