Marketing Communications Manager

About the role

The Marketing Communications Manager will lead the development and execution of Myanmar International School’s marketing and communications strategy. Based on‑site in Yangon, the role supports the school’s mission by promoting its brand, engaging families, and driving admissions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement integrated marketing and communications plans aligned with school objectives.
• Plan, execute and monitor campaigns across digital, print and event channels.
• Create and edit content for the website, social media, newsletters and promotional materials.
• Oversee the school’s social media presence and website updates.
• Design and distribute newsletters and support admissions communications.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent visual and written branding.
• Analyse engagement metrics and report on campaign performance.
• Maintain timely communication with families and the broader community.

Required profile

• Proven experience in marketing communications, preferably within education or a related sector.
• Strong content creation and editing skills for web, social media and print.
• Ability to plan and execute integrated campaigns and evaluate their effectiveness.
• Excellent written and verbal English; additional language skills are a plus.
• Strong organisational and project‑management abilities with attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business or a related field.
• Experience in an international or multicultural environment is highly beneficial.
