Internal Audit Supervisor

About the role

The Internal Audit Supervisor will lead audit initiatives across multiple departments and branches, ensuring robust internal controls and compliance with company policies. This role collaborates closely with senior management and regulatory bodies to identify risks and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and oversee audit assignments across departments and branches.
• Assess internal controls, business processes, and compliance with company policies.
• Review audit working papers for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to standards.
• Identify risk areas and provide practical recommendations for improvement.
• Conduct follow‑up audits to verify implementation of corrective actions.
• Verify inventory purchases, supplier payables, and goods‑received records.
• Review production usage, store balances, and physical stock counts.
• Support development and updating of internal audit procedures, checklists, and manuals.
• Coordinate with cross‑department teams and regulatory authorities when required.
• Report audit findings to the Financial Audit Manager and support group auditors during organizational audits.
• Assist in risk assessment and annual audit planning activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (B.Com or B.Act preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience in internal or external auditing.
• Familiarity with auditing principles, internal control frameworks, and risk assessment.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and organizational abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently.
