Human Resources Information System Specialist

About the role

The Human Resources Information System (HRIS) Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing the organization’s HR technology landscape. You will ensure data integrity, support HR processes, and drive digital transformation initiatives within the HR function.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain HRIS databases, employee records, and system configurations.
• Coordinate system upgrades, testing, and implementation of new HRIS functionalities.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve payroll or data discrepancies in collaboration with HR and Finance.
• Supervise attendance, leave, overtime, and shift data within the system.
• Provide HRIS user support to HR teams and other departments.
• Implement access controls, approval workflows, and communicate system changes to stakeholders.
• Participate in HRIS‑related projects, digital transformation initiatives, and coordinate with IT and vendors for enhancements and maintenance.
• Develop and maintain HRIS procedures, user guides, and documentation.
• Support regulatory and management reporting requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in HRIS administration or HR operations.
• Strong knowledge of core HR processes such as payroll, attendance, leave management, and employee records.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and data‑management abilities.
• Effective communication and coordination skills.

Required skills

• Experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., Global HR, Better HR, QHRM, or similar).
