Finance Manager (Reporting) – Chief Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Manager (Reporting) – also referred to as Chief Accountant – to lead our accounting function in Yangon. The role will oversee the full spectrum of accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting and provide strategic insights to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
• Manage cash flow, capital expenditures and working capital.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and scenario modelling aligned with corporate objectives.
• Ensure tax compliance, internal controls and coordinate audits with external auditors.
• Supervise and develop the accounting team, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Identify and implement process improvements in financial operations and reporting.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of corporate finance, accounting and audit experience.
• At least 5 years of experience managing a finance team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics.
• Active CPA or ACCA qualification (Part II or III completed).
