Finance Manager

About the role

Network International School seeks a Finance Manager to lead day‑to‑day financial operations, strengthen governance, and provide forward‑looking insight for a growing institution of over 800 students across two campuses.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor the Finance Manual, accounting policies and SOPs, ensuring they stay current.
• Oversee billing, cash handling, accounts payable, and procurement controls, maintaining segregation of duties.
• Prepare monthly management reports, cash flow statements, quarterly accounts and annual statutory financial statements.
• Maintain rolling cash forecasts, fee collection performance and accounts receivable ageing.
• Lead the annual budgeting process, manage in‑year revisions and monitor expenditure against budget.
• Supervise the Senior Accountant and accounting team, establishing clear roles and month‑end close checklists.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisers and banks, and ensure compliance with Myanmar Financial Reporting Standards.

Required profile

• Recognised accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent) and a degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• Minimum five years progressive finance experience, with at least three years in a senior finance management role.
• Proven experience in financial governance, internal controls and managing external audit relationships.
• Experience in an international school or not‑for‑profit environment is advantageous.
