About the role
The Factory HR & Admin Manager leads all human resources and administration functions for a crumb‑rubber processing factory, ensuring the recruitment, deployment and retention of staff needed for smooth production operations.
Key responsibilities
- Recruitment & workforce planning: develop strategies, lead end‑to‑end hiring for production operators, technicians, maintenance staff and supervisors, build talent pipelines and coordinate onboarding.
- Human resources management: oversee employee lifecycle, implement HR policies, maintain records, support performance management and organise training programmes.
- Employee & industrial relations: handle grievances, ensure fair policy application, foster communication between management and staff, and promote employee engagement.
- Payroll, compensation & benefits: supervise payroll administration, calculate salaries, overtime and statutory benefits, and manage employee welfare schemes.
- Administration & facilities: manage office operations, accommodation, transport, canteen, security, housekeeping and company assets, and liaise with local authorities.
- Compliance & legal: ensure adherence to Myanmar labour laws, maintain required documentation, support audits and monitor legal updates.
- HR reporting & analytics: prepare regular reports on recruitment effectiveness, turnover, absenteeism and productivity, and recommend improvements.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Law, Psychology or a related discipline; HR certifications are a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of HR and administration experience, including 3‑5 years in a managerial role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proven success in mass recruitment and workforce planning for factories or production facilities.
- Experience managing blue‑collar and production workforce recruitment; familiarity with industrial zones and processing plants is advantageous.
Required skills
- Strong recruitment capabilities for production‑level roles.
- In‑depth knowledge of Myanmar labour legislation and industrial relations.
- Payroll administration and benefits management expertise.
- Facility and asset administration, including coordination with local authorities.
- Ability to generate HR analytics and detailed reports.
