Assistant Manager – HR (Automotive)

About the role

The Assistant Manager – HR will manage and monitor day‑to‑day HR operations at Apex Motors’ Shwe Pyi Thar factory, ensuring attendance, leave, recruitment, employee relations, contracts and SSB documentation are aligned with Head Office policies and compliance requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor attendance and leave and ensure accurate records.
• Manage talent acquisition and recruitment based on manpower requirements.
• Handle employee relations, employee concerns and HR issues.
• Manage and monitor employee contracts (EC) and SSB documentation.
• Coordinate with Head Office, Labour Office and SSB Office as required.
• Support employee onboarding and HR documentation.
• Prepare regular HR reports and follow up on action items.
• Provide verified attendance/leave information to Payroll/Head Office.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Management or related field.
• 5+ years of HR experience, preferably in automotive, manufacturing or factory operations.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of HR operations, recruitment, employee relations, attendance & leave, EC and SSB.
• Strong communication, coordination, problem‑solving and reporting skills.
• Proficient Microsoft Office/Excel; HRIS experience is an advantage.
