Visa Officer

About the role

The Visa Officer will support students applying for visas by providing accurate advice, preparing documentation, and liaising with embassies and consulates. This role is essential to ensure smooth visa processing for our education clients.

Key responsibilities

• Advise students on visa requirements and assist in preparing application documents.
• Review visa forms and financial records for accuracy and completeness.
• Submit visa applications to embassies or consulates on behalf of students.
• Conduct one‑on‑one consultations to understand each student’s visa needs.
• Maintain regular communication with students regarding application progress.
• Liaise with embassies and consulates to track and resolve visa issues.
• Ensure all applications comply with current immigration laws and policies.
• Keep accurate records of applications and update students on policy changes.
• Prepare reports on visa application trends and outcomes.
• Guide and prepare students for visa interviews when required.
• Collaborate with admissions, counseling, and marketing teams for seamless processing.
• Represent the company at education fairs and other events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Preferably 1 year experience in a documentation or visa‑related role.
• Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken) and Myanmar.
• Organised, structured and able to handle responsibility independently.
• Proficient with basic office tools and internet research.
• Good typing skills in both Myanmar and English.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Computer literacy (basic office software).
• Experience using a CRM system.
