Video Editor and Multimedia Creator

About the role

Acumen International College seeks a creative Video Editor & Multimedia Creator to produce engaging visual content for marketing campaigns, social media, and college activities. The role combines video editing, motion design, photography, and videography, including planning and setting up student photoshoots.

Key responsibilities

• Shoot and edit videos for student testimonials, campus activities, events, promotional campaigns, and social media.
• Operate DJI Osmo equipment, cameras, and smartphones to capture clear, stable footage.
• Plan and set up student photoshoots, including backgrounds, lighting, equipment, props, and shooting arrangements.
• Guide students on posing and positioning to help them feel comfortable and confident on camera.
• Take and retouch student portraits, event photos, and campus photography for marketing materials.
• Edit footage into polished videos with effective pacing, storytelling, music, sound, subtitles, and colour correction.
• Create motion graphics, animated titles, text animations, transitions, and branded visual elements.
• Adapt videos for different platforms and formats, including Facebook, TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube.
• Work with the marketing team to develop concepts, storyboards, and shot lists that meet campaign objectives.
• Maintain a consistent AIC visual identity across photo and video content.
• Organize footage, photographs, and project files, and take care of production equipment.
• Manage multiple assignments and deliver work within agreed deadlines.

Required profile

• A portfolio demonstrating video editing, photography, videography, and motion design skills.
• Ability to independently set up lighting, backdrops, tripods, and basic audio equipment.
• Good understanding of composition, lighting, sound recording, colour, and visual storytelling.
• Ability to guide students and coordinate shoots professionally.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and teamwork.
• Experience creating content for education, youth audiences, or social media campaigns is an advantage.

Required skills

• Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve for video editing.
• Adobe After Effects for motion graphics.
• Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom for photo editing and retouching.
• Hands‑on experience with DJI Osmo equipment and cameras.
• Knowledge of lighting, backdrops, tripods, and basic audio equipment.
