Veterinary Formulator – Local Only

About the role

The Veterinary Formulator will design, develop and refine product formulations for animal nutrition and supplement products. The role focuses on creating stable, innovative recipes while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. This position works primarily in a laboratory and production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead research, design and testing of new product formulations to meet performance, sensory and physical targets.
• Conduct laboratory trials, including stability, shelf‑life and compatibility studies.
• Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for scalable manufacturing.
• Ensure formulations comply with industry safety standards, labeling and local/international regulations.
• Evaluate raw materials for efficacy, quality and cost‑effectiveness.
• Maintain precise records of trial batches, formulation adjustments and lab results.
• Collaborate with Sales, Material Planning, Customer Service, Production and QA to resolve formulation‑related issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary or Animal Science.
• 2–3 years of experience in product formulation, R&D or laboratory settings, preferably in nutrition or supplement industry.
• Strong understanding of ingredient interactions, chemical properties and formulation techniques.
• Proficiency in data analysis and technical writing.
• Ability to work safely in laboratory and production environments.
