Trainee Auditor (Product Certification)

About the role

The Trainee Auditor / Junior Auditor PC will support GSCS International in delivering product certification and compliance audits. Working on‑site in Yangon, you will assist senior auditors in evaluating sustainability, quality and ethical practices of client organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing product certification and compliance audits.
• Collect data, review documents and verify evidence on client sites.
• Prepare draft audit reports and maintain accurate audit records.
• Support audit preparation, site visits and evidence gathering.
• Participate in internal training programmes and stay updated on relevant standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to clarify findings and promote continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and critical‑thinking abilities with high attention to detail.
• Interest or basic knowledge of auditing, product certification, sustainability and compliance frameworks.
• Effective written and verbal communication in English.
• Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) in Business, Management, Engineering, Environmental Science or a related field.
• Ethical mindset, integrity and a commitment to continuous learning.

Required skills

• Proficiency with common office software such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to learn and use audit‑related tools.
• Capability to work on‑site at client locations and manage time effectively.
