Township Manager (Fiber Field Operation Division)

About the role

The Township Manager will lead day‑to‑day fiber field operations across the assigned township, ensuring safe, efficient installation, maintenance and fault restoration while meeting service level agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise fiber installation, maintenance, fault restoration and service activation activities.
• Plan and coordinate daily field work based on work orders, service requests and operational priorities.
• Lead and manage Team Leaders, Assistant Team Leaders, Technicians, Site Coordinators and other field teams.
• Monitor manpower, attendance, productivity, KPIs (MTTR, SLA compliance, fault resolution) and field performance.
• Coordinate with NOC, Customer Service, Planning & Design, Warehouse, Materials Control, HSE and other departments.
• Ensure proper use of fiber materials, tools, vehicles and documentation of all field activities.
• Investigate recurring network faults and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly operational reports for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, IT, Business Administration or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in fiber, telecom, ISP or network operations, with supervisory or managerial experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, team‑management, coordination and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure, handle urgent network issues and travel within the township.
• Good communication and reporting skills.

Required skills

• Fiber Optic Network knowledge (FTTH, installation, maintenance, fault management).
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel.
