Technical Assistant for SGBV Fundamentals Package Integration

About the role

The International Planned Parenthood Federation is seeking a Technical Assistant/Co‑Writer to support the Global SGBV Advisor in updating its internal SGBV Fundamentals Package. The consultant will work closely with the advisor to integrate IPPF toolkits, adapt content for multiple audiences, and produce a polished learning package for humanitarian‑development contexts.

Key responsibilities

• Map the existing SGBV Fundamentals Package against IPPF technical suites and identify integration gaps.
• Upgrade technical guidance across SGBV response, risk mitigation, prevention, and MEAL pillars.
• Tailor content into distinct learning tracks for non‑protection staff, health workers, and managers/supervisors.
• Deliver an integration plan, draft modules, facilitator guides, and a final copy‑edited package within the 12‑week timeline.

Required profile

• Degree in Gender Studies, Public Health, Human Rights, Social Work or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in SGBV, SRHR, and First Line Response (LIVES/PFA) programming in humanitarian or development settings.
• Direct experience with IPPF tools or comparable inter‑agency standards.
• Proven record of co‑writing training packages, facilitator guides, and technical tools.

• Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) integration.
• First Line Response (LIVES/PFA) methodology.
• Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) systems.
