Team Lead – Production Operations

About the role

The Team Lead is responsible for safe, efficient and high‑quality production operations on the shift. Reporting to the Cell Lead, you will coordinate material flow, manage SAP transactions and drive continuous improvement to meet safety, quality, reliability and cost targets.

Key responsibilities

• Administer the shift, ensuring accurate material transfers between warehouse and production using SAP.
• Control WIP inventory, perform monthly stock counts and support continuous replenishment and finished‑goods removal.
• Maintain a safe workplace by identifying hazards, delivering safety training and reporting incidents.
• Lead shift operations, monitor machine efficiency and collaborate with the Cell Lead on planned and unplanned absences.
• Drive DDS priorities, prepare escalation reports and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee quality by managing waste control, defect handling, KPI reviews and coordinating with QA/QC on consumer complaints.
• Support budget control, energy‑saving initiatives and waste minimisation in daily activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to guide a production team.
• Ability to analyse data, manage KPIs and implement process improvements.
• Commitment to safety, quality and environmental standards.

Required skills

• SAP (material and inventory management).
