About the role
We are looking for a Tax Accountant to support daily tax operations, ensure compliance, and assist the Tax Manager with filing corporate and commercial tax returns. The role is based in Bahan Township and works Monday to Friday.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare paperwork for tax payments, tax returns, and tax clearance.
- Handle withholding tax compliance and payment procedures.
- Assist the Tax Manager in preparing quarterly and annual commercial tax returns as well as corporate income tax returns.
- Liaise with tax authorities and related bodies.
- Monitor tax updates and translate them when necessary.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Tax Manager.
Required profile
- University‑level qualification, preferably in accounting or finance.
- 1–2 years of experience with Myanmar tax regulations.
- Good understanding of taxation and strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in English is a plus.
