Supply Chain & Logistics Manager

About the role

The Supply Chain & Logistics Manager will lead end‑to‑end supply chain activities across Myanmar and Cambodia, ensuring procurement, shipment coordination and customs compliance are efficient and cost‑effective. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail‑oriented and possesses strong negotiation and problem‑solving abilities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily purchasing activities, issue and track purchase orders, and monitor delivery schedules.
• Evaluate supplier performance on quality, pricing and reliability, and renegotiate pricing, Incoterms and payment terms.
• Calculate freight costs, prepare logistics budgets and track orders to estimated arrival dates.
• Coordinate import and export shipments with shipping lines, freight forwarders and trucking companies.
• Resolve logistics issues such as delays, damages or back‑orders and provide timely shipment status updates.
• Prepare and verify all shipping and customs clearance documents, ensuring compliance with Myanmar and Cambodia regulations.
• Maintain import licence records, oversee GRN reports and control shipment documentation.
• Conduct duty evaluation calculations and perform shipment cost analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain or import/export, preferably in pharmaceutical distribution.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management capabilities.
• Fluent English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
