Social Media Strategist

About the role

Group MarCom, the internal creative agency of Yoma Group, is looking for a Social Media Strategist to run the day‑to‑day social presence across the Group’s channels. The role is execution‑focused (about 80 % hands‑on content and community management, 20 % planning and reporting) and is ideal for an early‑career professional who wants to develop strategic expertise over time.

Key responsibilities

• Publish and schedule posts across all Group social media channels, keeping the content calendar on track.
• Monitor comments, messages and mentions, responding on‑brand and flagging sensitive issues.
• Help build monthly social content calendars, suggesting formats and timings for each platform.
• Resize, caption and adapt visual and video assets from the Creative & Brand Studio to meet platform specifications.
• Pull weekly and monthly analytics and prepare basic performance reports.
• Stay up‑to‑date with platform features, formats and trends, recommending their application across channels.
• Assist with social execution for group‑wide activations such as Yoma Marathon, Family Day and entity campaigns.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in social media management, community management or digital marketing, or a recent graduate with strong platform know‑how.
• Hands‑on experience running accounts on Meta, Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn, using scheduling tools and native insights.
• Good eye for content and comfort with basic photo/video editing and adapting creative assets.
• Clear, on‑brand writing for captions and community responses.
• Organised, deadline‑driven and able to manage a busy multi‑channel calendar.
• Genuine interest in social media trends and platform changes.
• Collaborative and proactive, willing to take direction while building toward strategic input.
