SME Credit Risk Analyst

About the role

We are looking for an SME Credit Risk Analyst to join our credit team. The analyst will support the evaluation of credit applications, monitor existing facilities and ensure compliance with credit policies.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing and assessing credit applications and customer financial information.
• Analyze financial statements, credit reports, bank statements and other relevant data to support credit decisions.
• Work with team members to evaluate the creditworthiness and repayment capacity of customers.
• Monitor existing credit facilities, limits, overdue accounts and overall credit exposure.
• Follow up on post‑disbursement conditions to ensure borrowers comply with Credit Committee approvals.
• Conduct site visits and interview business owners to verify activity, location, inventory, assets and overall operations.
• Ensure credit assessments and documentation comply with internal policies, product manuals, procedures and applicable regulations.
• Coordinate with Business, Finance, Operations and other departments on credit‑related matters.
• Prepare Credit Committee decision forms and meeting minutes accurately and promptly.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in credit risk, credit analysis, banking, lending or credit operations.
• High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
