Site Engineer – Telecommunications Projects

About the role

We are looking for a Site Engineer to support the implementation and execution of telecommunications engineering projects at various sites. The role involves overseeing installation, commissioning, testing and troubleshooting of telecom equipment while ensuring compliance with project plans, technical standards and safety procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Support implementation and execution of telecom projects on‑site, adhering to project plans, technical requirements, quality standards and safety procedures.
• Conduct and supervise site activities such as installation, commissioning, integration, testing and troubleshooting of telecom equipment and systems.
• Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, vendors and customers to ensure smooth and timely site implementation.
• Monitor site progress, provide regular updates on status, issues, materials and resources, and prepare site documentation.
• Identify and resolve technical and site‑related issues, escalating major problems to project management when necessary.
• Supervise subcontractors and site workers to ensure safe, efficient work in line with approved specifications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in telecommunications engineering, site implementation, installation, commissioning or maintenance is preferred.
• Strong communication, coordination, problem‑solving and teamwork skills with a sense of responsibility.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple site activities and travel frequently, including long‑term assignments abroad.
• Proficiency in English (both written and spoken); Chinese language skills are an advantage.
