Service Technician/Engineer

About the role

The Service Technician/Engineer supports customers and the internal team by providing clear technical information, troubleshooting solar equipment, and ensuring safe, compliant work on site. This role combines customer interaction with hands‑on maintenance of solar PV systems.

Key responsibilities

• Answer customer questions and explain technical information clearly.
• Support the team in resolving customer issues professionally.
• Test, troubleshoot, and maintain solar panels, inverters, and related equipment.
• Identify and report system faults.
• Follow company safety rules and standards.
• Check work sites for compliance with SOPs, work instructions and safe work procedures.
• Coordinate with team members, contractors and customers to ensure timely completion of work.
• Assist with general operational tasks and other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy or a related field.
• Experience or knowledge in solar PV operations and maintenance, electrical maintenance or technical support.
• Basic understanding of solar panels, inverters, mounting structures and monitoring systems.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Ability to handle customer concerns calmly and professionally.
• Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
