Senior System Engineer – Server, Storage & Cloud Infrastructure

About the role

We are looking for a Senior System Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain server, storage, and cloud infrastructure for both internal operations and client projects. The role combines hands‑on implementation, troubleshooting, and optimization across on‑premises and public‑cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers (Windows Server, Linux).
• Design and manage storage solutions (SAN, NAS, software‑defined storage).
• Deploy and administer virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere, Hyper‑V, and KVM.
• Implement and manage cloud infrastructure on Azure, AWS, or Huawei Cloud.
• Configure backup, disaster‑recovery, and high‑availability solutions.
• Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, patch management, and capacity planning.
• Support migration projects, including on‑premises to cloud and data‑center consolidation.
• Troubleshoot hardware, OS, virtualization, and storage issues to resolution.
• Prepare technical documentation, as‑built designs, and operational runbooks.
• Collaborate with pre‑sales and project teams on solution design and customer deployments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience with servers, storage, and virtualization.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with at least one major public cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or Huawei Cloud).
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, routing).
• Familiarity with backup and disaster‑recovery tools such as Veeam or Commvault.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., MCSE, VCP, RHCE, AZ‑104, AWS Solutions Architect, HCIP/HCIE).
• Proficiency in scripting/automation (PowerShell, Bash, Python) and exposure to IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible).
