Senior Program Manager

About the role

World Vision is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead the implementation of multi‑sectoral projects across Myanmar. You will oversee field teams, ensure high‑quality delivery, and coordinate with technical and support functions to achieve program objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide field implementation leadership and delivery management for all project activities.
• Supervise Project Managers and ensure timely, efficient, and high‑quality delivery of sectoral interventions.
• Monitor progress against work plans, address delays, and coordinate multi‑sector activities (WASH, Protection, Food Assistance, Health, EiE, DRR).
• Serve as the central coordination point between Project Managers, Technical Director, MEAL Director, and support functions.
• Lead development and consolidation of field‑level implementation plans and track performance against budgets and targets.
• Identify operational challenges and provide adaptive solutions to maintain continuity of implementation.
• Mentor and build capacity of Project Managers and field staff, fostering accountability and teamwork.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in International Development, Management, Social Sciences, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum 6–8 years of relevant experience in program management within humanitarian or development contexts.
• Proven experience supervising field teams and managing multi‑sector projects.
