Senior Program Manager – Agriculture, Livelihoods & Market Systems

About the role

The Senior Program Manager will lead Catholic Relief Services' agriculture, livelihoods and market systems portfolio in Myanmar, providing technical direction, strategic oversight and ensuring high‑quality implementation for vulnerable communities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead sector strategy, assessments, market analyses, value‑chain studies and learning initiatives across the portfolio.
• Provide technical leadership for program design, monitoring, evaluation and learning processes.
• Manage and supervise staff, including performance evaluation, coaching and talent development.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with donors, private‑sector actors, community groups and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate with M&E to design and implement robust monitoring and evaluation systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, agricultural economics, rural development, international development, economics, business or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience leading agriculture, livelihoods or market‑systems programs, preferably in an I/NGO.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience with performance management and coaching responsibilities.
