Senior Planning Engineer

About the role

The Senior Planning Engineer is a full‑time, hybrid position based in Yangon. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining detailed construction schedules, coordinating planning activities, and ensuring that project milestones and contractual obligations are met.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, update and control detailed work programs for large‑scale industrial, commercial or infrastructure projects.
• Monitor progress against baseline schedules, perform variance analysis and forecast future performance.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineering teams and site staff to allocate resources and manage risks.
• Prepare regular progress reports and recommend corrective actions to keep projects on track.
• Continuously improve planning methods, tools and standards to enhance efficiency and delivery quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline (post‑graduate qualifications are a plus).
• Proven experience in planning and scheduling for large‑scale construction projects, preferably in Myanmar.
• Strong analytical abilities and experience with progress tracking, variance analysis and forecasting.
• Excellent communication skills for working with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment, manage multiple projects and meet changing site conditions.
