Senior Manager, Brand Marketing

About the role

The Senior Manager, Brand Marketing will develop and execute the brand strategy for Carlsberg Myanmar’s local power brand, aiming to build strong consumer‑relevant equity while driving volume growth, market share, and engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the brand strategy for the assigned brand.
• Monitor brand performance, drive growth and profitability.
• Develop initiatives to strengthen consumer‑relevant brand equity.
• Conduct market research and consumer insights analysis to guide positioning.
• Drive innovation and new product development aligned with consumer trends.
• Plan and deliver impactful consumer activation campaigns across channels, leveraging digital and experiential marketing.
• Measure activation effectiveness and optimize future campaigns.
• Collaborate with regional and global teams for strategic alignment.
• Partner with sales, finance, and supply chain for seamless execution.
• Manage external agencies for creative development and activation delivery.
• Set KPIs for brand health, promotion and activation effectiveness.
• Analyze market share, volume growth, and consumer engagement metrics and report to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field; MBA preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in brand management, marketing or related commercial roles.
• Proven track record in strategic brand building and project leadership.
• Strong experience in campaign planning, execution and budget management.
• Ability to work collaboratively across functions and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to travel for quarterly out‑of‑town market visits and weekly in‑town market visits.
