Senior Business Development Manager – Telecom Infrastructure

About the role

Global Technology Group is looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to drive growth of its telecom infrastructure business in Myanmar. You will identify new opportunities, build strategic partnerships and expand our service portfolio while working closely with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop and pursue new business opportunities in the telecommunications and infrastructure sectors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners and key stakeholders.
• Lead the end‑to‑end business development cycle from opportunity identification to contract finalisation.
• Collaborate with technical, operations, legal, finance and project teams to design customer‑focused solutions.
• Conduct market research, customer analysis and competitor assessments to spot trends and growth areas.
• Prepare proposals, presentations and supporting documentation for prospects and senior management.
• Support commercial negotiations and coordinate internal resources to achieve successful outcomes.
• Monitor industry developments, regulatory changes and market conditions relevant to telecom infrastructure.
• Identify opportunities to expand existing relationships and create new strategic partnerships.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Telecommunications, Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, commercial sales, key account management or a similar role.
• Experience in telecommunications, ICT, infrastructure or utilities is preferred.
• Strong understanding of B2B sales processes and commercial negotiations.
• Proven ability to develop strategic partnerships and manage customer relationships.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Analytical, problem‑solving and business‑planning capabilities.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and collaboratively in a cross‑functional environment.
