Senior Backend Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain high‑performance server‑side applications. You will work closely with front‑end teams and DevOps to deliver reliable APIs and scalable services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain reusable Node.js applications.
• Write clean, modular, well‑documented code and implement RESTful APIs for web and mobile clients.
• Optimize architecture for performance, scalability, and security.
• Integrate data storage solutions such as SQL, NoSQL, and Redis.
• Conduct unit, integration testing and perform code reviews.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely fixes.
• Mentor junior developers and share technical guidance.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and collaborate with DevOps for smooth deployments.
• Stay current with industry trends and propose process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 4+ years of professional experience developing Node.js applications.
• Proven ability to deliver large‑scale, high‑traffic systems.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
