Senior Android Developer - Wallet

About the role

Binance is looking for a Senior Android Developer to lead the development of its MPC Wallet Android client. You will design, build, and optimise a secure, high‑performance mobile wallet that serves millions of users worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new features and optimise the architecture of the MPC Wallet Android client.
• Implement client‑side security modules such as key management, MPC signing flows, and device binding.
• Collaborate with iOS, backend, and web teams to ensure API/Proto consistency across platforms.
• Continuously improve app startup speed, memory usage, network efficiency, and UI rendering.
• Write unit and integration tests, conduct code reviews, and enhance CI/CD pipelines.
• Research emerging Android technologies and introduce suitable tools and frameworks.

Required profile

• 5+ years of native Android development experience with end‑to‑end product delivery.
• Proficiency in Kotlin (primary) and solid knowledge of Java.
• Deep understanding of Android SDK and Jetpack components (Lifecycle, ViewModel, Navigation, Room, WorkManager).
• Experience with Jetpack Compose or traditional View system for complex UI.
• Familiarity with MVVM, MVI, or Clean Architecture patterns.
• Knowledge of networking libraries (OkHttp, Retrofit) and data serialization (Protobuf, JSON).
• Experience with dependency injection frameworks (Hilt, Koin).
• Understanding of Android security mechanisms (KeyStore, encrypted storage, certificate pinning, code obfuscation/hardening).
• Strong Git workflow habits and ability to use AI‑assisted development tools.
• Excellent communication skills for cross‑team collaboration.
