About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our trading company in Sanchaung Township, Yangon. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month‑end close, and ensuring compliance with reporting standards.
Key responsibilities
- Check all cash and bank daily transactions.
- Monitor receivables, payables, fixed assets, and depreciation.
- Ensure timely and accurate month‑end closing and financial reporting to management.
- Prepare and close monthly and annual financial statements.
- Prepare monthly profit and loss statements and report to the chartered accountant.
- Oversee day‑to‑day financial operations of the company.
- Conduct monthly ground stock checks.
Required profile
- B.Com, B.Act, B.A (Economics) or any graduate with LCCI Level III (UK) & DA.
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in the trading industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools.
- Experience using accounting software.
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
