Security Area Officer - Mandalay

About the role

Paladin Security Services, a professional security services company, is looking for a full-time Area Officer to support its business development and operations in Mandalay. The post covers new business opportunities, recruitment and deployment of security personnel, supervision of client sites and day-to-day coordination of Mandalay operations, reporting to the Operations Manager and General Manager at the Yangon head office.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach prospective clients, promote security guard and related services, arrange meetings and follow-ups, and maintain a client database
• Coordinate deployment and supervision of security personnel, run site inspections, check attendance and discipline, and handle incidents and complaints
• Recruit and screen security guards and supervisors, build a pool of available personnel and keep recruitment records
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports, track business opportunities and report staffing needs, risks and concerns to head office
• Follow company procedures for expense claims, approvals and management instructions

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience in operations, administration, sales, business development, security services or a related field
• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills; able to work independently and travel within Mandalay Region
• Professional Burmese and ability to follow instructions and report accurately
• Preferred: bachelor's degree or diploma, previous security services experience, client relationship management or sales experience, knowledge of local business networks, proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
