Secondary Associate Teacher (Physical Education)

About the role

Network International School is seeking a motivated Secondary Associate Teacher to support the delivery of Physical Education across its secondary curriculum. Working closely with the International Sports Teacher, you will help create a dynamic, inclusive environment that encourages students to develop fitness, teamwork and a lifelong love of sport.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the International Sports Teacher to plan, prepare and deliver timetabled PE lessons.
• Cover classes as directed by the Head of Faculty and ensure lesson continuity.
• Assess student progress, provide timely feedback and adapt activities to meet diverse learning needs.
• Act as a co‑tutor, taking attendance, modelling positive behaviour and delivering pastoral care.
• Participate in school duties such as break/lunch supervision, house events, extracurricular activities, parent meetings and leadership team requests.

Required profile

• Degree in Physical Education, Sports Science or a related field.
• Strong understanding of PE curriculum frameworks, fitness training and coaching techniques.
• Experience delivering a range of sports lessons to secondary learners.
• Excellent spoken and written English and Myanmar language skills.
• Ability to work independently, collaborate with an international team and show initiative.
• Myanmar nationals only.
