Revenue Assurance Operations Specialist

About the role

The Revenue Assurance Operations Specialist supports the Finance Division by monitoring and controlling revenue leakage across prepaid, data, VAS and network services. The role focuses on fraud detection, control point validation and ensuring compliance with internal and co‑source audit requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly and monthly reconciliation and control checks for prepaid, data, VAS and network revenue streams.
• Generate and close revenue leakage reports, including fraud alarms, and coordinate corrective actions with IT, Marketing and Sales teams.
• Validate product changes, pricing updates and migration activities to ensure accurate billing.
• Act as the single point of contact between the internal team and the co‑source vendor for all revenue assurance alarms and projects.
• Lead root‑cause analysis of fraud incidents and oversee the resolution of L2 cases and customer complaints.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT audit, fraud detection, alarm creation (Subex) or data analysis within a telecom environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline; partial professional accounting qualification (CA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Subex alarm management system.
• Strong data analysis and business process modelling capabilities.
• Experience with financial and operational auditing methodologies.
• Knowledge of IT audit and fraud control techniques.
