Relationship Manager – Banking Sales

About the role

Grow the Bank’s deposit and loan portfolio while achieving assigned sales and revenue targets. Acquire new customers (NTB) through market visits, referrals, networking, and lead generation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, retain, and deepen existing customer relationships.
• Understand customers’ businesses, financial needs, and cash flows to provide suitable banking solutions.
• Cross‑sell deposits, loans, trade finance, digital banking, payments, and other Bank products.
• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline and convert opportunities into quality business.
• Conduct regular customer visits and follow up on portfolio performance, repayments, and retention.
• Prepare credit proposals, loan applications, renewals, and required documentation.
• Coordinate with Credit, Risk, Operations, Legal, and other teams for timely service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with AML/KYC, regulatory requirements, and Bank policies.
• Maintain accurate customer records, sales pipeline, and performance reports.
• Develop market intelligence and participate in business events/networking activities to generate new opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Banking, Economics, or related field; MBA is an advantage.
• Experience in Relationship Management, Sales, or Business Development in Corporate, SME, Premium, or Retail Banking.
• Proven track record in deposit mobilization, lending, sales, and customer acquisition.
• Strong communication, negotiation, networking, and analytical skills.
• Good understanding of financial statements, cash flows, credit, and banking products.
• Target‑driven, proactive, commercially minded, and accountable.
• Strong customer relationship management and business development capabilities.
• Good understanding of AML/KYC, compliance, risk, and banking policies.
• Ability to work effectively with internal teams and external customers.
