Quality Test Engineer – Banking Sector

About the role

We are looking for a Quality Test Engineer to join our banking applications team. The role involves designing, developing and executing comprehensive test plans to ensure high‑quality software that complies with banking regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and execute functional, regression, integration and performance test cases for banking applications.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts and stakeholders to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Identify, document and track defects using industry‑standard test management tools.
• Ensure testing activities align with banking regulations and QA best practices.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of software testing experience, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools and processes.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• ISTQB Foundation Level certification is a plus.

Required skills

• Test management tools: JIRA, TestRail, HP ALM.
• Automation frameworks: Selenium, UFT, Postman (API testing).
• Performance testing tools: JMeter, LoadRunner (optional).
