Quality Assurance Test Lead

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Test Lead to drive QA activities across multiple change requests and projects. The role combines strategic direction, coordination, and hands‑on test execution to ensure high‑quality delivery for telecom and BSS solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement test strategies, plans, and test case designs for each delivery stream.
• Lead a QA team while also executing complex test cases and supporting defect analysis.
• Manage test environments and data provisioning.
• Coordinate manual and automated test planning and execution across multiple teams.
• Facilitate daily defect triage meetings, ensuring root‑cause analysis and closure.
• Communicate test risks to business stakeholders and track quality metrics.
• Mentor junior team members and promote best testing practices.
• Estimate testing effort for new features and enhancements.
• Define and monitor quality KPIs such as defect leakage rate and test coverage.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, release managers, customers, and third‑party vendors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of software testing experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• ISTQB Advanced Level or Certified Agile Tester (or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of Waterfall methodologies and telecom/BSS testing environments.
