QA Testing Engineer (4-8 years experience)

About the role

We are looking for a QA Testing Engineer to design, execute, and manage functional, regression, and integration tests for our projects and change requests. The role ensures that solutions meet business requirements while minimizing production defects.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and create comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
• Execute test cases, log defects with detailed evidence, and track them to closure.
• Perform system, integration, and regression testing across web, API, and mobile platforms.
• Support UAT cycles and coordinate validation with business users.
• Validate backend data using SQL queries and contribute to test closure reports.
• Maintain test documentation, including strategy, plan, and summary reports.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and product owners, participating in peer reviews and continuous process improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 4–8 years of hands‑on software testing experience.
• Strong documentation and defect‑lifecycle management skills.
• Proactive problem‑solver with good communication abilities.

Required skills

• SQL for backend data validation.
• JUnit or similar test frameworks.
• API testing tools such as Postman and REST‑assured.
• Version control and CI tools: Git and Jenkins.
• Test management and defect tracking tools, e.g., JIRA.
