PYP Coordinator – Lead IB Primary Years Programme in Mandalay

About the role

The school is seeking an enthusiastic PYP Coordinator to lead the implementation and continuous development of the IB Primary Years Programme. You will work closely with teachers and senior leadership to foster a culture of inquiry, collaboration and high‑quality learning while maintaining a reduced teaching timetable.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the IB Primary Years Programme across the school.
• Mentor and support teachers in delivering inquiry‑based learning.
• Guide curriculum planning, assessment design and programme evaluation.
• Promote best practice in teaching and learning throughout the Primary School.
• Support ongoing IB authorisation, evaluation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
• PGCE or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Extensive experience teaching within the IB Primary Years Programme.
• Proven experience in a PYP leadership or coordination role.
• Strong understanding of IB philosophy and inquiry‑based learning.

Required skills

• Experience with IB authorisation, evaluation or programme development (highly advantageous).
• Collaborative, adaptable and solution‑focused approach.
