Programme Officer – Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM)

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) seeks a Programme Officer to support the Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) programme in Myanmar. The role involves coordinating data‑driven humanitarian activities, ensuring accurate displacement monitoring, and collaborating with regional and headquarters teams.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor the implementation of the DTM programme across Myanmar.
• Work closely with DTM support teams, the Camp Coordination and Camp Management (CCCM) team, and other partners to ensure data quality and timely reporting.
• Collect, analyse, and visualise displacement data using GIS and data‑collection tools, and produce technical reports for humanitarian response.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Social Science, International Law, Humanitarian Affairs or related field with at least two years of relevant experience (or a bachelor’s degree with four years of experience).
• Demonstrated experience in emergency response, humanitarian data collection, data‑protection guidelines, and technical document preparation.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ESRI ArcGIS or other GIS software.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Graphic‑design skills using the Adobe suite.
• Experience with data‑collection tools such as Kobo and Open Data Kit (ODK).
