Production Supervisor – Manufacturing Shift Lead

About the role

The Production Supervisor (Team Lead) is responsible for safe, efficient and high‑quality manufacturing operations on a designated cell. Reporting to the Cell Lead, you will manage material flow, SAP transactions, waste control and shift administration while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Administer shift activities, ensuring accurate material transfers between warehouse and production.
• Manage continuous replenishment and finished‑goods removal using SAP.
• Control WIP inventory, conduct monthly stock counts with zero discrepancies, and support production planning.
• Maintain a safe workplace, train staff on safety procedures, and report incidents.
• Lead the cell to achieve machine efficiency targets, coordinate absences, and implement IWS/DMS tools.
• Oversee waste control, defect handling and KPI reviews to sustain product quality.
• Coordinate with QA/QC on quality issues and communicate consumer complaints.
• Follow budget guidelines during ASP periods and contribute to energy‑saving initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of shift management, inventory control and safety standards.
• Ability to analyse KPIs, prepare reports and drive corrective actions.
• Good communication skills for coordinating with cross‑functional teams.
