Production Supervisor

About the role

The Production Supervisor is a full‑time, on‑site position responsible for overseeing daily production activities on the shop floor of Lucky Bag Plastics. The role ensures that output meets quality standards, safety requirements, and production targets while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Assign tasks to production staff and monitor progress on multiple lines.
• Manage production schedules to meet demand and deadlines.
• Coordinate with maintenance and quality teams to resolve equipment or quality issues.
• Track performance metrics, report results, and identify resource needs.
• Train, coach, and guide team members, addressing daily operational challenges.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste.

Required profile

• Strong supervisory experience leading production teams and managing performance.
• Proficiency in production planning and schedule management.
• Hands‑on experience in production management, quality control, and resource allocation.
• Effective communication skills for cross‑functional coordination.
• Knowledge of manufacturing safety practices and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to analyze production data, identify issues, and implement improvements.
• Prior experience in plastics manufacturing is an advantage.
• Technical diploma or degree in manufacturing, engineering, or a related field preferred.
