Production Manager – Lead Operations & Continuous Improvement

About the role

Lead and coordinate the production team to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations, meeting production targets while maintaining quality and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate and supervise the production team, allocating machines, materials and manpower according to the approved plan.
• Ensure effective resource utilization, monitor material consumption, reduce waste and promote good housekeeping and SOPs.
• Manage production schedules, monitor progress and coordinate with planning, warehouse and dispatch to meet delivery deadlines.
• Control costs by monitoring labor, material, utility and operational expenses and support budgeting activities.
• Maintain production quality standards, ensuring compliance with internal quality systems, food safety and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and resolve operational issues, drive continuous improvement and implement preventive measures.
• Oversee performance appraisal, training, discipline and safety compliance of production staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Agriculture or a related field.
• 5–8 years of production experience with 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, process control and cost management.
• Proven leadership and team management abilities.
