Procurement Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead our purchasing team in Yangon. The role involves overseeing supplier selection, negotiating contracts, and ensuring cost‑effective sourcing across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Team Leadership – supervise purchasing staff, set performance metrics and track cost‑saving targets.
• Sourcing and vetting – find and evaluate new suppliers to ensure they meet quality, delivery and pricing standards.
• Price Negotiation – negotiate contracts, payment terms and service level agreements for the best commercial value.
• Risk Management – mitigate supply chain disruptions by diversifying vendor options and monitoring market trends.
• Cross‑Department Collaboration – partner with finance, legal and operations to align purchasing budgets and follow compliance rules.

Required profile

• Education – Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business or an MBA.
• Experience – at least 7 years of proven work history in purchasing, vendor management or supply chain operations.

• Good writing, reading and speaking in English.
